Request to Increase Sending Timer Limit for SALLAH Automated Messages
complete
Ahmed Elsebaey
The current system restricts the Sending Timer for automated WhatsApp order status messages to a maximum of 50 minutes. This limitation hinders our ability to set appropriate time delays that match our operational needs, which sometimes require hours or even days to elapse before sending the message.
Desired Outcome:
The desired outcome is to extend the Sending Timer limit to allow for settings in hours and days, in addition to the existing minute-based setting. This will provide greater flexibility and better alignment with our operational requirements
Use Cases:
- Extended Notification Periods: Ability to notify customers after longer durations to accommodate various business processes.
- Improved Customer Experience: Timely updates for orders that require extended processing times.
Current Workaround:
Currently, there is no effective workaround. The system's limitation forces us to send notifications within a shorter time frame, which may not be ideal for all types of order statuses and customer expectations.
Proposed Solution:
Modify the Sending Timer feature to support higher values, allowing users to set the timer in hours and days. This change should be reflected in the configuration interface, enabling users to select the desired delay period more flexibly.
Benefits:
- Enhanced Operational Flexibility: Allows setting timers that match various business scenarios, improving process alignment.
- Improved Decision-Making: Enables more strategic timing for customer notifications, leading to better communication and customer satisfaction.
- Better User Experience: Contributes to a more versatile and user-friendly platform by meeting diverse user needs.
